Holiday Inn Express St. Ignace-Lake Front by IHG

The location was exceptional! Being right on the water you can watch the sun rise over the lake every morning. In the evening, a large firepit was available for anyone to join and only steps from the beach. The grounds were very well maintained and decorated for the fall season. The rooms were super clean as was the indoor pool and all other amenities. Their breakfast was the best with choices of eggs, sausage, different omelets waffles, cold cereal and freshly baked cinnamon buns. Free shuttle to and from the ferry dock to Mackinac Island also.

We were on the 1st floor with a walkout directly to the waterfront and seating area. Beautiful view, comfortable seating and landscaping/flowers was nice. Breakfast was well stocked and there were many choices . Comfortable beds. Our .2 queen room was very comfortable for my family of six.

We were going to Mackinac Island for the day, so the location was excellent. We were able to buy tickets for the ferry to the island at the front desk, and there was complimentary shuttle service to the docks from the hotel which was a bonus. The hotel was clean, and the view of the lake from our room was beautiful.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and how it was further into town so it was nice and quiet. We stayed the the 2 queen bed with the jacuzzi spa tub and the room was clean and very spacious.

The beds were very comfortable. Less than 5 minutes after turning off the TV, I was asleep. I loved the view of lake Huron from my balcony. Direct access to the lake. I really only use a hotel room as a base to shower and sleep. I feel like my room is secure, so I don't worry about what is left in the room, which allowed me to focus on having fun. The persons behind the desk were really nice and very patient. I had to go to my car for my credit card and then go out again for my license plate #. Super easy checkout too. If I go back to St. Ignace, this is where I'll be staying
